black_list_typhoon said:ok....dont make fun of me for asking....but what is a dump tube, how does it work, what else do i need to add one to my stock setup??
black_list_typhoon said:so its just like running no exaust?? i guess thats what it sounds like to me.....
black_list_typhoon said:as far as the dump tube goes.....i dont understand why to even run exaust if i have one. If there is a dump tube right after the turbo then no exaust will even go threw the exaust.
vortecfiero said:there seems to be a lot of comments that headers sound better...
if you only change from exhaust manifolds to tubular headers... all else
remaining the same... the only sound difference is whatever migrates
through the walls of the tubing. On my homemade manifolds the material
is almost as thick as the stockers, through passages, and seem just as
quiet.
