Tim....I was planning on leaving to go to the hotel around 2 pm-ish on Friday, so as long as you're around here by then, that's fine. Leaving later (3-4 pm) is fine as well. It's about a 2 hr drive from my house, so no big rush IMO.
Let's see, you're in Eustis, right....so 280 miles to my house....you should be able to cover that in 3.5 - 4 hours. Looking at the map, you may wanna take 75 up to Gainesville and cut over on 24/18/301 to I-95. Not that I've ever been that way, so tell me to get lost if that route takes you through fifty 30 mph zones. Even still, if you took I-95 the whole way up, it won't take long. Pope and I made it from Daytona Bch. to my house in 2 3/4 hours when we came down for Memorial Day. So....I wouldn't leave until 10-11 am if I were you, but you're welcome anytime.
Were you renting a U-haul trailer? If so, you can leave it with me (I'm a U-Haul dealer).

Yeah, I figured for sure it'd be like a 4-5 hour trip. Well shit, maybe I'll leave a little later then, more around 4:30ish-5. I still wanna get there somewhat early though, just to chill out. I wanna beat alot of the traffic on friday morning, that was my main reason for leaving earlier.
No, I priced out a uhaul trailer and they wanted to much money for one way on it. So I got a buddy to lend me his trailer. And I plan to take 95 all the way up. (not like the 50, 30mph zones I wouldnt be doing 20 over in anyway. :lol: Reminded of the last trip and the cop up on hill on 75 :lol: )

surprisingly for dad, coming up I4 vs 75 is a diff of about 25 miles, so you might as well head this way and we'll meet up ( if we're going to meet up in Savannah with everyone)

Dad: 376mi (strait to Reynolds) / 522mi (through Savannah)
Me: 359mi / 428mi
It looks like it may be worth while to just drive strait there, meeting up in ocala.

Looks like we are going to have a good turn out.
I will be getting there later on friday night becasue I do not get off work till 5:00 and also I have to load everything up. (truck and trailer) I will bring some tools and Jack and some other misc. items .
I am only 60 miles away it will take about a hour and 15 minutes to get there.

Yea the rear fender is broke on mine and i fiberglassed it back but i have a feeling it will be breaking off.
It got the smaller sprocket on it now and hauls ass once you get going put it just needs a little help.
My brother clocked me doing 45mph on his gixxer. that was going a hill though but it should be intresting.
Hood how in the hell did you wreck it? did you ever get another motor for it?
