Given im still a go......Id seriously be lying if I said im not all pumped up to get a minibike fired up and do some hardcore laps around the hotel. Watch the water hazard on turn 4 though....
Feelin a bit crazy lately.... might bring the clippers, bust out a mohawk in the parking lot.
Pizza Hut... we are definatley going back there.

Just reserved my room and the guy said that (as of this morning) there are still a fair amount of rooms left for next weekend (21-23), but that they've been getting booked quickly the last few days. So.....get your room now if you haven't already. Oh, and ask for a room on the back of the hotel.....that's where we'll all be anyhow.

Well......fired the new combo up for the first time today. After some minor tweaks it runs "pretty good". Plenty of tuning to do in the next 7-10 days.....however, it's still up in the air if I'll make a pass at the track (new trans - so need some break time/miles). Not entirely sure I'd be happy with the results anyways as I had to make a few compromises with the install (wasn't aware that RPM's downpipe puts the O2 sensor so high up that it won't let the Waller upper IC fit - so I have to run the stock upper).
Adam - yeah, we need to go ahead and get something fairly formal started with figuring location, date, swag (awards, t-shirts, etc...). I'll bring some pen/paper for some brainstorming.
Also, to all....if you desire some tuning that weekend, I'll have my equipment, but I'm pretty sure I'll be tuning my truck almost the whole time (depending on how far I get this week). I'll be more than happy to help anyone out, but I won't have the time to help tune that I normally dedicate during these meets.

Ok, we're in. Monster truck races were cancelled, so we will ride down Saturday. Hood if we run we DO have to have a battery disconnect....and helmet also...right. Thanks

Sounds good Joey.....you only have to have a battery disconnect if you have the battery relocated. Otherwise, stock is fine. Yep....helmet too.....but we'll have plenty of those lying around. So, for you, all you need is - helmet, long pants, & seat belt.

Yeah, first 4 years of this GAST meet he says,
"Steering wheel work? Brakes work? Not blind are ya? Nope......yer good to go."
Then, I assume it's gonna be the same old thing last year and he nearly does a frame-off on my truck right there on pit road. Luckily, I was in order (well, to tell the truth, he asked if I had a battery disconnect.....I said yeah, but neglected to tell him that it wasn't installed. I guess, technically, I did have one, just not on the truck).

I'm leaving friday as well. But it'll be very early in the moring. I'm driving to Hoods to drop the truck off and then following him and probably Pope to the hotel later in the day. (And by early friday morning, like around 1:30-2ish that way I get to his house early and we can all leave.)
And I'll be taking I-95 up, and 75 back with you guys...
I'm leaving friday as well. But it'll be very early in the moring. I'm driving to Hoods to drop the truck off and then following him and probably Pope to the hotel later in the day. (And by early friday morning, like around 1:30-2ish that way I get to his house early and we can all leave.)

Are you guys willing to leave that early though? Remember I work nights so its nothing for me to be up from 12-8 normally. lol. (and I'm going to be busy until about 11:30-12 that night anyway) And I didnt want to burden Hood by showing up later in the day and forcing him/us to get to the hotel late at night.
It doesnt bother me. We can all go my way. I just wanna know where you guys would want to meet, because I'm not sure yet how I'm going to get to I-95. I can take a few different route's to ge to it.. :dunno:
