You guys are right ... atleast it was a "cheap" cladding part, lol. There is a funny story to that. I almost backed my truck in the last time I drove it .... but TALKED MYSELF OUT OF IT BECAUSE I FIGURED " if I get hit, this front bumper cover is $1000 and hard to find " .... lmfao. I just knew it was my luck to get hit I guess .
I already have a sticker, but thanks for the heads up ..... you are ALSO DEAD ON , I was thinking it was a white/grey car too. The messed up thing is out of the 15 cars that park in the same lot .... 7 or more are grey/white (just my luck again) ---

I wish .... someone told me to ask the apartment to pay for damages since the parking lot is so tight, and if they dont pay..... sue them for not having camaras?! Too bad its not THAT big of a deal , and I doubt I could do that anyway :rant: ---

Yes, I was going to drive my truck for winter since its ALOT safer than either of my rwd camaros .... but now I dont trust people NOT sliding into me. I trust myself ---

SWEET!!! I put a sign up 2 hrs ago, and already had the persons sister call me and nark her out. I am so happy. So now, what do you guys think I should do.... have her pay me $600 cash ( this way I can keep it off the carfax record and fix it myself, AND she doesnt have to turn it into the insurance to pay the $500 deductible ) or should I just get it fixed right... and not worry about the carfax record deal?

deont know how carfax works but someone hit my dodge and caused 2k in damage and it was never on carfax. I would say ask for 800. if the insurance gets involved it would be over 1500 to fix. Plus in california its a ticket to hit and run. fines and possible jail time?

Good news. I have a brand spanking OEM never mounted new one if you want it. I'll even cut you a break and get it to your door for $285. Lemme know....and don't everyone bombard me to cut it to them for that price. This is a one time offer given the circumstances :tup:

I just learned that Carfax only gets involved if the police do.... does that sound right?!
OK, and as far as the cladding goes....how will the insurance get a peice?! Arent they a part you need to have "hookups" to get? I want OEM and not repro. I dont want to make a mistake here. If you have had to replace your cladding using insurance, please help ---
