Are you planning on using stock manifolds or headers? Reason I ask is in the pic above the plug in the side of the head wont work with a header flange from the looks.

Project looks nice though

Need bigger pics!! Bump 'em up to 640x480. The L35s look ported - got any pics of the porting up close or the chambers?

Re: Syclone #136

Not sure if you know this or not but how the hell do you get the fill tube out of the plastic vortec covers so you can put the oil cap directly on the cover?

Re: Syclone #136

just regular mounts from Advanced.

and as for the V-covers. I ran those Vortec composite ones last year with the flat cap. no big deal, just put a funnel in to put oil in  . But they dont fit with the new big rockers. I got a set of chrome stock style that will go on.

Re: Syclone #136

I am looking for how to get the stock riser out of the cover so I can run mine just like yours. Either I am being to weak about turning it or there is a trick and I dont know what it is

Re: Syclone #136

V-covers were really easy. I buzzed the sides with a cut-off wheel, and the bolt towers just fell off. So now the covers are hollow inside, execpt for the breather ducts, which surprisingly clear the Pro Magnum rockers.

I took pics, but didnt get them uploaded yet.

Also tried to make a DP outta 2 45 elbows and straight pieces.... didnt work. Tonight i'll try to match the bends of the stock DP with polished 3" stainless. I layed it out, and its a bunch of 45's and a 90 at the bottom. I gotta a couple more V-band clamsp too

everything clears fenderwells. although i will have to relocate the battery somehow, cause the turbo would hit it.

i have stainless WG flanges being overnighted, so i can finish it this holiday weekend.

Re: Syclone #136

Nice DP you are building there. Great fab skills I would say. Are you planning on bringing in the wastegate exit at an angle or just striaght into the DP?

i got another 90, so it dumps in square. gonna put the O2 bung after the dump, and the wideband bung before the dump.
