Fog light switch

Is the fog light switch supposed to light up when the fog lights are on? It looks like it might have a little LED or bulb in the front surface of the switch, but mine doesn't light...

It lights up yellow when its on... and it gets really hot too.... =\

Mine gets warm too. Is that why EVERYONE's fog light switch is always extremely faded light gray? Even on a mint truck this is the one interior part that always looks like it has 100K of sunlight on it.

When I have my fogs on, a lot of that little light "leaks" out and shines brightly on my driver's door handle, does that happen to your guys' too?

ok, I dont know if I used it on my 92 Ty or if its just MIA, but I cant find it, so if someone else has one grab it.

i dont think they fade cause of the heat, they fade cause they are made of the same shit ass plastic the rear defroster and rear wiper switches are made out of. :lol:

My fog light switch has 3 positions:

1. left - fog lights on when high beam headlights on
2. middle - fog lights off all the time
3. right - fog lights on when low beam headlights on

and the yellow indicator light in the switch is on only when the fog lights are on.

This can't be a stock switch.

I am the original owner and I haven't ever changed the switch out.
