Is that the biggest electric water pump you could find lol?

Where'd you pick up those valve covers from. I'm going to be needing a set for my bowties.

Looking good! Did the valve covers clear or did you have to modify them to fit?

Are you running shaft rocker or stud rockers on your heads? I have a new pair that would work with stud rockers. They will not work with offset shaft rockers.

Re: Progress of Bowtie motor

Thanks. Yes the cage is O83 Molly. the Turbo is a Ceramic BB 88m with a 96 A/R That Mike had Turbonectics custom build for me.

The Dash I have recently changed from the stock gauges. I will be running a Racepak UDX Dash in a carbon fiber stock housing I had made, along with some complete stock housings that will hold the stock gauges I had made in Carbon for members to buy. I should have the first one complete for people to see in the next couple weeks. I dont have a price yet on what they will cost.

Re: Progress of Bowtie motor

Haven't got it on the scales yet I am gonna guess it shouldn't be over 50lbs?.

At the moment I dont have the bars that come from the top of the cage down into the bed but plan on putting them in, soit will be NHRA legal. There are ones that go into the bed from the shoulder bar,and tie into the frame and have a cross bar that ties both of them together.

Re: Progress of Bowtie motor

Doesn't appear to have the bars out the back window? Why?

I got a friend whose syclone is getting a cage soon that is why the questions, we have been discussing weight.

I did the same on my dry sump motor, but used an AN fitting with a cap. is this similar?

Also before you do your back cage bars, check the new NHRA rules. I believe they may have given us releif to the top bar if we have a full cage. It mentions we can go low out the back of the cab which would be under the bed cover. I will check with my fab guy also to see if this is a new rule and where we have to tie in the bars.

He said that all the pro stock guys are using the racepak stuff and also said you can log a lot of different things with like torque converter slip, rpm vs wheel slip....sounds like cool stuff!
