Re: Ty 4.3 vs vortec 4.3 So it is true you can use another 4.3 motor or just the block? The reason I'm asking is because I may need a rebuild and a shop is telling me the Sy engine is an even fire crank and a regular 4.3 is an odd fire. This absolutely will not work so they say.
