Well #569 is now officially a 10 second truck.

Higher gear, more load, more boost. Normal.

I had a local shop build mine. It's a 10" semi-billet with a 3500rpm stall. I run a 6266 and a bigger cam and pretty much only a race application so the rpm is probably better around 2800rpm.

Whole again, nice quiet smooth engine now.

Next phase, figured this could use an update. The motor is out and completely apart to get a rebuild. I still wanted to play with a 100% stock bottom end so it's going back together with stock parts.

I don't think it's been found beneficial enough to really get anyone interested. It's a direct injection motor, most basics factors in that are a different piston and the fuel system itself. Not much support yet for any aftermarket ecu to control the DI system, so you'd have to pretty much...

Guessing 3000ish. Haven't really driven it much since the trans went in.

Got my th350 back, tracks are all closed for the season, so no rush to put it back together just yet...

It has RPM coilovers and tubular control arms. Stock rear driveshaft.

Thanks. Its got a high 10 in it. I've run out of drag racing season here in Oregon so next spring I'll lay it down.

I won't be doing headwork or intake manifolds or anything like that on this motor. I'll reserve nice things like that for a v8. The truck already has alot deleted, entire hvac system is gone, abs and cruise are gone. Full tank and no driver it weighs 3270lbs. Still have power steering mostly...

Mid 11.5:1 range on e85 Stock LB4 heads, I had ignition breakup issues, had to step to a colder plug to clear it up. It was creating all sorts of false knock which was pulling all of my timing and I wasn't even throwing any at it yet. That didn't happen on the dyno as I ran out of time and...

I'm still playing with the Holley to get it to run right, but it's pretty solid at WOT. The driveability stuff has been the tricky stuff. I haven't touched it in a while, the power I picked up killed my transmission so I'm awaiting the new one. It's not much to look at really, but yeah...

It's a Precision Gen2 6266 This was a simple hone and reassemble done by the previous owner, not me. By the paperwork I got, looks to be just rings and bearings and everything reused. I've run as high as 28psi on several occassions, e85 and good tuning is alot more tolerant.

Its not there. Truck is torn apart right now. The cowl cover isn't even installed.
