Black Zrs on a White Ty. . .

ROH also makes the wheels for the 93 and 94 Pontiac Firehawks (don't know about other years). These are 17" x 9.5"" with the right offset. I was gonna take them off my Firehawk to see what they'd look like but I decided against it and bought the GS wheels.

Black Zrs on a White Ty. . .

I agree that the color scheme is off. I also must say that GS wheels look better on a truck when it's lowered. That Ty looks a bit high to me. I have them on my Sy and just lowered it this weekend and it looks :shocked!: Paint the cladding to match, lower the rear by 2" and the front 1" and...

Cutting out panel in Sy bed for fuel pump......

A Walbro 255 pump and an billet AFPR is on order for Monday delivery. I have all my questions answered and appreciate everyone's help. The bed's coming off! See, the point was I asked a specific question about everyone's opinion on cutting the hole. Some agreed, some disagree (the majority)...

Cutting out panel in Sy bed for fuel pump......

I never said I was going to hack the bed, I was simply posing a question. See, I looked in the search for fuel pump replacement and this is one of the ideas that came up. I also stated that I hated the idea of doing it. Again, I read that it was an all day affair. I now understand it takes...

Cutting out panel in Sy bed for fuel pump......

Thanks, then why do people state that it's going to take " a full day" to replace the Sy fuel pump. Seems like the whole job should take 2-3 hours....no?

    Typhoon....

Welcome!!!! I agree, $13-17K for a nice Typhoon. Syclone's may be abit less expensive depending on the truck and overall condition. I had the same decision to make, Sy or Ty, but I ended up with another Sy since I like the pick up styling better and they are more rare. Search around and...

Cutting out panel in Sy bed for fuel pump......

I understand your post but it seems like such an easier method to access the fuel pump. I read some previous posts and know a few guys here have done this on their Sy and Ty's too. Just looking for some opinions here.

Cutting out panel in Sy bed for fuel pump......

replacement. This seems like a fine idea but I hate to cut the bed. I have the hole dimensions and location and it seems like a much quicker and easier solution. What's everybody's thought on this? Thanks

Upper A Arm notching for ZR1 wheels (9.5)"......

Jimmy Mann, Dude, calm the hell down!!!! Your idea is a fine one and I appreciate the help in posting the pic. When I wrote my reply stating that I needed to grind more, I didn't fully understand your solution. I do now and will try it. Not helping me is fine, that's up to you. I just...

Upper A Arm notching for ZR1 wheels (9.5)"......

I looked at my wheels when I got home and they are exactly flush with the front cladding. Again, i also bought the correct 56mm offset. Guess I'll have to grind some more.
