There's a guy on eBay that sells new repo's of the intake crossover pipe. Finding a stock one in good shape could be pricey.

I found a 40" cable with double eyelets. We'll see if it works.

That would be great. I have not been able to find a suitable replacement that has the eyelets on both sides.

I had the same type of issue. The lock cylinder actually went bad on my truck. Put a new one in and that fixed it. You could check that.

Where did your zq8 box come from? Do you know the part number you used? What power steering pump did you use?

My front suspension and steering was a f'ing mess at 60k. Nothing had been serviced or replaced when I got it, so it may be quite a bit different than your truck. I replaced the bearing at the top of the steering shaft, the steering shaft, and the box along with a new PS pump at the same time...

My understanding....yes, you'll be fine. I think the stock lines are fine. You'll need an adjustable fpr, the stock one I think is inadequate.
