Is your truck stock? I would focus on making sure the truck is generally in good shape to begin with. IMO, you go beefing up the engine, everything down the line on a 30yo truck is going to suffer and you're going to have problems.

Mine looks the same on the other side too. I'm not real good with the cladding on these trucks, but I do know that this cladding has never been off for any reason. As far as molds I'm not sure, my guess is more along the lines of installation issues or movement over time due to poor or worn out...

The ICM seems to be a real weak point. I had a check engine and pulled out an old Delphi icm. Replaced with an ac Delco and cleared that code. Had a better idle. I do keep that Delphi in the glovebox though as the truck ran, just poorly when it was in. I've always been curious about this but...

I haven't made lines in years so I'm a little wary of doing them on this. I do know Napa has some decent hard lines so I may just pick up a few of those if I can get the proper lengths and fittings and use something like that. We used to have a great parts store near me with knowledgeable staff...

That's a real slick look. I know some guys have been 3d printing the dash stereo bezel as well so I thought about that. Possibly recreating the bezel and then a setup like your talking would be a way to go.

You mentioned the TT chip, so this was my first thought. Did the battery go dead or was it disconnected at all? Those chips lose their tune if they lose power correct?
