Re: 4.3 vortec Thank you all for the info. The reason I was asking is because Im thinking of adding a turbo to the 4.3 in my truck. I had a LT-1 that I was going to put in my truck but it blow on the dyno. So Im going to try to do some inexpensive way to add power to my 4.3.

I would like to know what the difference between the vortec 4.3 that come in the 92 blazer and the vortec 4.3 that come in the typhoon? I understand the that the ty has a turbo as a power adder but are the internals upgraded?
