    Re: Not revving past 4200 rpm There has been problems with the lower intake manifold gasket when using the cheaper felpro gaskets, but that usually causes the engine to suck coolant and not oil. I would check you PCV valve if you have not cause it sounds like it could be stuck open.

    Re: Turbo Oil Feed Fitting On my 02 vortec block it was a 1/4 NPT to -4 AN, but I have seen 3/8 NPT on the older blocks.

    Re: 4L60E Swap in I think you can adapt a SBC Vortec timing cover to the older 4.3L block and the 3x reluctor wheel to the crank. That would probably be the cheaper route than going with a dual sync dizzy, but I also see the plus side of having a sequential system so its a toss up for me...
