Just spotted a black one with a lower intercooler scoop. Driving on 148th near eastgate. Seen it a couple times so I assume he lives around there. Very clean, wish my Ty was running so I could be out there.

Last night got the ty back from a shop who tuned it. It ran harder than it ever has. then I let it rest for the night. Got in this morning and it was stumbling, hesitating, and idle was real bad. It even died on me just idling. Anyhow the codes I pulled were 21, 31, 34. Where do I start...

Re: Runs like junk suddenly weird. same thing happening with me. last night i got my ty back from a shop who did some work on it. it ran so hard. this morning i fire it up and i'm getting the same symptoms. hard idle, hesitatationg, stumble, even died on me. tell me what u find out.

yea I wasn't on it on the second run. But that is when the weird noise came. You can see a lot more knock also even when there is no boost. not sure what to do now... bring it in a shop to check? the noise sounds like its coming from the passenger side of the motor.

yea I'm going to kick myself if it's because of the vac lines... I have a brand new set waiting to be installed, and that was my next project. Which vac lines should i pay special attention to? I guess the only way to tell if I have a bent rod is to bring it into a shop? thank everyone...

thanks for the response... any ideas which lines to check first? yea my IC pump for some reason is not circulating the water. it's on, its making noise, but the water is not flowing. only 3 years old too. just scares me cuz it almost sounds like the same time i bent a rod. thanks, MikeC

what if you want to glue 2 parts together like a butt-joint. what kind of glue would you use?

in my situation it wasn't the battery because i turned on all my lights... and it wouldn't dim. so at the time i was stumped. hopefully after doing my remote solenoid i'll have this solved. i had the hot-shot relay, but i'm going to rip it out. also my wires going to the starter were fried...

is it a single click? i've had all sorts of no-start problems. if it is a single click... check into the starter solenoid or the starter itself. and of course possibly the purple wire. check down by the starter itself and see if your wires are getting fried. if there is struggle but no...

i have the exact same setup. edelbrock shocks and 2" lowering blocks. i would say the ty is not smooth. it feels like a lowered car w/ cut springs. so it bounces a bit. however i have not had it bottom out. it does corner much better though. i'm thinking of changing them out to kyb's or...
