if it was a 93 cobra, i would vote cobra, but since its not, TY!

93 Cobras are awesome cars, so I'm gonna have to second that. I would pick a Ty and build it if you had the money, but if funds were limited, the Cobra. You can get a ton of power out of them for comparatively small amounts of money.

Cobra....12 years newer and far less likely to break under the same gruelling circumstances. What you lose off the line to a Ty, you can quickly make up down the stretch. Run some soft DR's and you might not lose much, if anything, to one off the line.

Even after owning a Z, I'd still vote for the Ty. Like alot of other's I'm still partial to SyTy's over anything else.

the only thing that sucks about moving to az is that i have nowhere to work on anything. i mean i have a garage but no tools.

in ohio i have a friend with a shop with evey tool you can think of that was 2 min down the road from my house.

reliability is a factor , but if the ty breaks down its not like i dont have somthing else to drive until it gets fixed

im thinking get a ty now and a few years down the road get a cobra...

l have been looking at cobras and typhoons so i guess its just a matter of witch one tugs at my coat tail.

im kind of torn between the two.

Go with the TY... Mustangs are like a$$holes, everyone has one. Just my $.02.

Our test subject is Mark Norton's factory supercharged '04 Cobra. His car is equipped with a 2.76-inch Billetflow pulley and idlers, an open-element K&N filter, and a Runnin' With the Devil tune. After swapping in some new NGK plugs, the Cobra put down 444 hp and 469 lb-ft of torque. The intake air temp was 68 degrees, and the air-charge temp after the intercooler was 92 degrees at the beginning of the run. The engine coolant temp was 188 degrees, and the timing advance peaked at 21 degrees.

pulley, chip and filter for 444 rwhp and 469lbs of torque... can't argue with that much

Can someone post a pic of the cobra we are talking about here? I saw the Mustang in Transformers and thought it was awesome. A mustang with a Roush body kit or something would be amazing esp if they are as easy to mod as people here are suggesting! My next car after the Ty is fixed I hope!!

If it's the black one I seen on there it's nice but a complete different animal.. not a terminator cobra (03 or 04) even though it has 04 anniversary wheels on it.

tough one!! hmmm I think I'd do the Cobra myself...but then again with that kind of extra money I'd do things differently all together. Cobra/Saleens are nice too..meaning one of the highly limited cobra motored saleens. good luck!
