Hey all, I walked around the PT @ Miller Park yesterday and wanted to let the community know we represented. went early and left by 1:30 but there were more vechicles arriving all day long so I may have missed something. I was there for around three hours and I saw three SyTy trucks. There were 2 Sys ( 1 was a Marlboro edition ) and a Ty. The Ty was from Michigan all black and super clean. I wanted to talk to him and give him props but he was talking to a few people so I didn't get a chance. Good luck to all who make the long haul on the POWER TOUR '05.

Thanks for the Props. The black Sy you saw was mine and the Marlboro was Marty's. I am not sure who's Ty it was but it had a damn cool license plate (PDQ SUV).

Nice to see we were representin' at the PT. Nice trucks guys, I love the power rear window on the Marlboro. Did you look inside the Ty from Michigan? He had some kind of scantool mounted to the side of the console that was plugged in to the ALDL.

I think the black Ty was Twins' truck. At least I think I remember him mentioning doing the Power Tour.

Yep my Ty.

I met one SYTYer (sorry I forgot your name) but he didn't have his truck.

My wife and I checked out marlborosyclone's truck and shot a couple of pics and I stood around it for a 1/2 hour or so then my group wanted to leave. I heard there was another Sy but never found it.

I had never seen a Marlboro truck in person.....freaking incredible. Sweet seats, steering wheel, and tops. If I had a Sy it would have some sort of power rear window.

The scan tool is an ancient OTC 4000. I went in 3 ways in 97 with my Dad and another T/R owner to buy it to tune our GNs. Of course they run Scanmasters now and my GN is gone so...........the OTC is mine. It was big in it's day and I understand how to run it and setup the screen for what I want so it's easy. It will record but everyone here uses DM so I just try to translate. I had a SN95 owner ask me if it was a GPS!

You would be suprised how many people ask me what the plate means.

I got the plate right off the bat only because my mother used to tell me to do something PDQ when I was growing up. Though I can see what you are saying. I told my friends about the cool plate I saw and none of them got it. Sorry I missed you, I had the Sy that you couldn't find.

Thanks for checking in I was dying to know what the hell that plug in scan tool was. GPS? Halarious! Your truck was sweet. I got the plate too. I did not get a chance to talk to you at the PT but I heard you mention you have an external WG. Is the rest mostly stock? I saw the IC hardline delete.

Now that I've made it home from WI it's going to the track with some 104 oct no-lead 18-20 psi and I'm shooting for 12.9's at 102ish. I have a SMC kit off my GN that I should send back for the updates and try for 12's on pump gas.

BIG TIME thanks to my buddy Jeremy (low 11 sec T/R on pumpgas/alky peg leg DR's) for tuning help.

I wish I would have cought up with you guys, being in a group (Buick T Type, IROZ, 30th Anv Z, 65 Mustang with a 32 valve 01 drivetrain) I kind of went with the gang on leaving cruising ect.

I just got home from a meeting to sell my Pearle Vision store so next year I plan on long-hauling it!!
