This cold weather we are having here in chicagoland rocks....They still have not put any real amount of salt on the roads yet so I decided to go for a spin in my truck......man talk about boost....I was able to break all 4 tires loose consistently....these trucks f@#$ing rock...
got back to the house and the intercooler was freezing to the touch.....the only thing hot under the hood was the back half of the turbo.....if only that would happen on 90 degree days... I can't imagine what you guys out there with mods run like...
wow

It is pretty cool. Today i went fishing, and anything left on the ice was froze down solid. We resorted to kicking everything we set down. It was a good time. Too bad we don't live in CO where they don't use salt!

Driven my truck a few times in the winter coming back from meets. Have a temperature sender for my IC and have seen temperatures as low as 32 degrees. Yeah, truck runs like a raped ape when it's really cool outside...

What kind of tires do you have?

On your next set of tires, you may try the BFG Traction T/A. I'm really impress with these tires. They rate higher for snow traction too :) :) . If you check the Tire Rack Web Site you can find a review that I posted, the tires now have about 4,ooo miles on them now. Also wrote about them in a post about Street Tire ??? here on the board. Much better than the Goodyear or Firestones, I had on the truck before.

I'd love to take mine for a ride, but it needs a head-gasket swap. Plus the roads are ful of salt. :(
