Look man I REALY didn't do this to start a problem or imply ANYTHING at all, little less try to make you look bad. I was hoping that one of the boys here on the board might know you personal like and let you know that I was trying to get in touch with you and that you would in turn get a hold of me... that's all. Like I said, you did or had your GF fax me the receipt’s and I do have them but still don't have the boxes going on three months now. Don't worry about the message / voice mail thing, I do have an answering machine at home but no messages, still no biggie. You can call me anytime on either of the #'s you have or PM me I think you have my e-mail address also from when you sent the pic's, any will work.

I'm just trying to follow up and to protect both of us. There are time limits involved and I'm sure T-Bone will agree that if YOU wait to long to file a lost claim on your side, you won't get your money from the insurance that was paid for. I haven't heard from you since your last post on the 3rd. I do hope that you have indeed gone down in person with your ins. receipts and filed the claim? I'm not trying to hurt you because you did fax receipts, I don't doubt you at all, just trying to let you know there is a problem and that you and I both need to address this on both sides due to the time deadline issue so we both don't loose money. Insurance was paid for... lets use it :tup: , and like I said a few posts back... we all know shit happens with UPS, FED-X, USPS, DHL and all of them, loss, damage etc.

So again like I said, at this time I think the best thing is to just refund me, you file and get refunded from the post office and if anything ever does show up, I will gladly and happily let you and or the post office know and resend the funds to you :tup: . This should not be a loose / loose situation because of the insurance. At worst a little miscommunication and inconvenience / lost time but that's it.

I am being perfectly honest and up front here. If you want to refund me through pay pal, that will be the best and easiest. If not, I have notified MasterCard and they are sending me the charge back forms and will likely be here in a day or so and they have already told me that I must fax return them by the 15th and not to mail them back due to their expiration time to file. Not what I want to do cause it's a pain in the butt and cost me $15 for the charge back but bottom line is, time has run out for me on my side and I'm not sure (T may chime in) what the time limit is on Priority Mail but I think 60 days for you to file on your side and your time if running out too, just trying to make sure you don't get rejected and lose out :tup: .

The charge back will go to pay pal and they will pull the funds out of your / your sisters pay pal account. If there are no funds, then they will get ugly and start bugging you (not good and the very reason I have waited too the last minute to report the charge back).
Tell me what I can do to help you / help us out here? I am trying :tup: . Just let me know cause on the 14th those documents are gonna get faxed.

Houston, we have a problem! When packages are accepted, the additional service numbers are scanned into the postal system. Proof of that action is that the number is reflected on the automated receipt you get at the conclusion of the transaction. If VH 363 551 904 US is on the same receipt you have from the USPS when you sent the other package, I will personally send you $100 and the entire board is my witness so how about posting a pic of the receipt for all to see. You have now sparked my keen interest.

T, I have the #'s he did fax them to me and they are correct! Buuuut.... as I am sitting here looking at the reciept stubs, I see a round ink stamp (circle in a circle) with the city name and date on the "Delivery Conformation" receipt # 0305 2200 0896 9746 and the same ink stamp on the "Insured Mail" receipt # VH 695 681 492 US but NO INK STAMP on the "Insured Mail" receipt # VH 363 551 904 US? Kinda like it was not processed maybe?

Ummm, ink stamps aren't placed on the payment receipts . I wanna see you post the receipt which shows the amount(s) you paid the clerk, packages sent, money tendered and cash (if any) returned. That will have all insurance and delivery confirmation #'s on it that you paid for and if it isn't on there, you don't have it so far as the USPS is concerned so go ahead and post it up please!

No, what you have is the customer portion of the label. What is on there doesn't mean much of anything, especially if you did not pay for the service rendered. If it is not recorded in our system (and the number in question is NOT), then all you have is a piece of a label and nothing more. IN YOUR DEFENSE , the clerk COULD have messed up and stamped your label portion without scanning the actual label on the package into the postal system, which in turn means you didn't pay for it which finally means you have no proof, nor does James, that the package was sent. I am not doubting you (or your representative) sent the package(s) but rather trying to aid James in locating it. I wanna see a copy of the automated payment receipt that is white in color with black ink. I can get to the bottom of this IF you produce that. The label with a date stamp is a mute point right now and without it reflected on your receipt, it is worthless. Hope you understand and thanks for not giving up.....I'll help you through this but you gotta work with me and my promise of $100 still stands if it is on the automated receipt you produce :tup:

Ok..... Grant I’ve been as patient and polite as anyone could be. I have returned home from Japan and you can call me if you like but I did file the Mastercard dispute like I said I would have to do (paypal will be getting in touch to you let know also) since I never got any solid info from you and you never sent anything to T-Bone for verification either. I got a letter from MasterCard and they have found in my favor and credited me the $300. At this point you still owe me the $90 for the shipping that was pulled from my pay pal balance. Please refund the $90.

I said it before and I'll say it again, if you insured the boxes, please file your loss claim to recover your money. If the boxes ever do show up, I will gladly resend the funds too you but I am now considering these way beyond lost and would like you to do the right thing.

Thats the one and only thing i like about using credit cards...you get messed with, they take care of you(most of the time). Been there..done that. I would never do any online transactions straight outta my bank account. Its too bad that some people dont play by the rules.. What a shame. :tdown:

Well I don't want to call "Dog House" yet, I am still willing to work with Grant since he's a member. I do hope he get's his money from the loss claim, I do hope he will refunde me the other $90.... but what I hope most of all is that if he did / does file the claim that the trace will break the boxes loose from where ever thay are hiding and they still arrive.

No one likes to loose parts even if you get your money back and I really wanted that stainless ATR exhaust, the re-buildable turbo was just a extra. Bottom line is that neither of us should be out anything if all was done as it should have been?

The USPS is a human run organization and therefore, subject to errors. However, our average in lost packages with tracking is about 1:987,344. The chances of losing 2 packages from the same person is foriegn to me. I have never heard of that happening because the only place they are together is from the post office to the bulk mail center. At that point, they are dumped on a conveyor belt and unless bonded with gorilla glue, they are on their own to their destination and at least one of the packages is bound to arrive. At this point, I hear the bones rattling in the dog house. I for one, will endeavor to never do business with sellers like this!!!!!!!!!!! Guess I'll spend my $100 elsewhere too.....only reason I made the offer in the first place is my gut (and my experience) convinced me the shipper was a fake and it was worth $100 to test my inclination :tup:

Can we not have some sort of policy on syty.net like the posting images with attachments that you need to have made some donations or a worthwhile contribution?

Perhaps you can only advertise / trade on here if you can put up a $500 bond or something as a guarantee against bad transactions?

Maybe the number is off or the idea is flawed but you guys get my drift right?

My feedback is important for 2 reasons, the first and most important because I am a 100% guy and anyone who has dealt with me knows that and the second is that I desperately need the support from you guys in the US to get my truck up and running.

If you're not a serious trader then you are not going to commit that money. If you are, then $500 is a fair amount and you can have it back once you resign your rights to advertise / buy on the site?

Like I said, probably flawed but the principal I think stands.

Sorry you got done there James. In perspective though I think you have been lucky - people on here have lost hundreds, possibly thousands from bad deals. I think a trading bond would reduce exposure.

That's a good idea if it is refined. I think once a person reaches around 20 POS feedbacks, he or she has earned the right and the reputation to sell/trade without additional buffers. I don't know that there is a safety net for transactions though. Recent, close-up pics and prompt communication are crucial to making a sale positive. I stand by every sale I make and have been taken to the cleaners by a couple through this site. I just take the loss, tag them and mark it up as a learning curve. I can tell you that both these guys, James here and Mike with the wheels are honest brokers!!

Yea that's true but I am a trusting sole, up to a point anyway. I still take personal check's (through my business's and personal), if a man tells me it's sold I'll hold till the cows come home.... even if a guy shows up 5 minutes later and offers double for it! We all have to start somewhere with everything. And while I won't send large amounts for sight unseen items or buy vehicles without looking at them or at least having a pro appraisal (sorry T :roll: ) if I can't be their in person, I will still try to do business the "old fashaion" way. A man's word and or a hand shake is still good for me...... if it falls through then I'm not out much because I do protect myself (sight drafts, Credit Card purchase, insurance etc.) and in cases where someone really did get to me, well I spent $2,200 to fly to N. Dakota one time to file criminal fraud charges againt a guy who thought he could scam me on some Hemi parts. He got 24 month and I got my money plus expenses :tup:

Ok, well I hoped I wouldn't have to go to the next step but I guess I have no choice. Still no contact or response / info from you Grant. The last time you logged in was on 12/20/07? I hope your not but it does "appear" that you are now just blowing me off. You are aware of the problem, have posted a comment or two saying you would provided solid info but have not done so...... knowing all this you have not signed on to follow up since the 20th. Not even a "hey did either of the boxes ever show?", boo, get lost or anything. If had an issue I would at least check from time to time and see what was going on even if I didn't really need to check the board for anything, but that's me. The holidays are over and hunting season or not, no more excuses.

So it leads me to the next level. I really don't want to talk to you on the phone (can't ever get you anyway), all further comments or answers need to be in writing via this forum, e-mail or fax (you have all of them) and now I have to insist that you refund the balance amount of the $90 I paid for shipping and insurance or I have to put this up for a "Doghouse" vote. I need to see a refund pretty quick to not move to the "next level" again.

Just do the right thing and let's avoid other issues.

PS: If any one knows Grant, please tell him to check the forum!
