Since I haven't made one of these I might as well.

Typhoon 1190:
Open downpipe (need to track down an aftermarket 3" piece)
Moates and Code 59 tuned
Otherwise rather stock

Not sure where I want to go with it though as I need to create something reliable yet at the same time look good, and be relatively quick. Any and all suggestions are welcome. As you can see, the paint is rough, missing a few pieces of cladding, and the motor has seen better days.

Something respectable and very streetable. It will be a 100% daily driven vehicle so reliability is my main priority. I HAD a 1991 Galant VR-4 a while ago, now I have the Ty and a 2002 Suzuki GSXR 600....

Re: 1190 - The Beginning

nice... the RPM upgrade turbo kits arent a bad way to spend some coin on a fresh setup. comes with a 3" DP as well. dont need to go huge on the turbo or anything but could be something worth looking into. what is hanging under the passenger side bumper?

turbo an ls with a th400 then. run 11's on low boost and reliability. just sayin. won't be "cheap" right off the bat, but will be once its running. runtnin 60mm or so, like 35r's or some shit like that. sump stock tank, used a1000, and stock internals save for the rod bolts being arp's, done.

Re: 1190 - The Beginning

it depends how big is you pocket .and if you are able to work on the car or pay to get it done .i spend more then 10k on my motor and i still haven't finish and i'm doing everything my self even the intake plenum i did it .so to make power you got to spend $.. leave it stock and enjoy put a larger 20g turbo and a custom programmer and don't spend what you got . in a built .:2cents::2cents:
