Back at the track tonight with the innards removed from the cat and the truck is finally running like I think it should. :tup:After spending all winter and a ton of $$ I'm finally happy with my build.

4 passes:

11.954
12.090 (spun the tires)
11.934
11.91 (air cooled off)

I'll post the slips and the DM runs tomorrow.

Build list:

Crank is stock .010/.010 balanced

Block is original with 4 bolt center mains, ARP bolts, align bored, cyls custom bored to SRP .030 pistons w/torque plate, decked, clearanced for Eagle rods, JE Pro Seal rings. Static compression calculates to about 8.4/1. There is also a crank scraper for whatever that might be worth. No good way to tell.

Vortec heads w/stellite exhaust seats, custom valves and valve job, port matched to manifold (no porting otherwise), machined for Comp springs, chromoly pushrods. ARP bolts.

Stock intake modified for vortec’s.

50# injs

Turbo is a custom build using a stock turbine with a clipped wheel housing is completely opened up with a JSM 3” DP. Compressor section is a 60-1 and I do not have a map for it but I assumed that the 60-1 maps you can find on the Internet are close. Currently I’m running a bit more boost than I’d like. DM shows 25 lbs. May have to get a different controller. Gutted cat, no muffler.

Cam is a Comp 412 timed to their card. Comp roller lifters.

Very careful assembly by yours truly (I haven’t built a motor in a long time.)

Spec Rite 2800 stall converter

Custom built trans (700r4) by a local builder.

Custom chip by RPM

Razor alky inj.

These times were on 91 octane with 4 gals of 100 added to about ½ tank of 91. I’m thinking I can do the same without the 100.

Bat moved to bed.

Re: 11's INFO added

Wow that's is almost 100 percent my build! I have a 3k converter, Nolan tune, and I'm picking up Alky kit tonight otherwise its damn near identical! I would be ecstatic to get it into the high 11s. That's my goal!
