66 Plymouth VIP 4 door HT (Rare)

(posting for my dad, so best to email him)
This has a 383 automatic factory air. Everything works except the air. It is all hooked up but not charged. This car has been in storage for the last 15 years. It has 94,000 miles on the odometer. I have the title that was issued to the previous owner in 1967. I also have warranty papers.
Since I bought it I have done the following: New Paint, battery, brakes gone through, Rebuilt carb, new carpet, recovered seats as needed, New heater core, and rebuilt radiator.
The car drives and runs great. I am a Chevy guy and am not interested in the Plymouth. Would consider trade for 24 ft enclosed car trailer. I am asking $4,800 and would help out with the shipping of up to $500. I can supply more pictures or information on the car if needed. I am just south of Seattle.

Man I like that...

Add you some nice rims and be the pimp daddy around town.

I rode in the car about a year ago, it really is a nice car. He just painted it and my brothers have told me it really made the car look great.

A/C is all complete but not charged. so I would say not working.

I will email him for pic of fender tag. Car is all original aside from new paint and fixed seats. He pulled it from a barn ~2 years ago, got it running, been driving it around a bit since.

My brothers took it to a mopar car show last sunday. It drives rather nice.

At least the backseat will be easier to get in and out of to create those good "Ole Memories"

Re: 1966 Plymouth VIP

yea but at your age the 4 doors will be easier to open and close :D

You do have a point! ;) ..... would be a little easier than trying to stuff myself into the Sy, however :D ....the old Satellite really was a comfortable car. I'll have to try and find a few pics and scan and post them.... maybe an idea for a new thread.... pics of your first car...

Jeff,

I sent this thread to my mopar buddies in Vegas. So, if your dad gets a bite from there, you'll know where it came from.

Re: 1966 Plymouth VIP

Thanks, he isn't in a hurry to sell it just isn't a car he has interested in keeping. It is an odd car that only a few will want, we both know that. Be a good car to just enjoy, drive to cruises etc and not be all worried that a 10k paint job got chipped, etc.

I'd roll it. :D It's got kind of a Mayberry, USA look to it. I dig it.

But no money, no more garage space, etc etc...
