Don't forget you have to remove the powdercoat from the back of the brackets (around bolt hole bosses) where they make contact with the block & heads. Otherwise you'll have crappy grounding from the alternator & it will work like sh!t.
Also remove powdercoat around bolt holes where the alternator makes contact with the bracket.

Good tip. I remember glowing Red bolt and washer when I painted my Z's brackets, but that was also the battery ground.

Brought the truck home finally! Put a little over a 100 miles on it yesterday, running pretty good but still needs a tune. Pics to come tomorrow. Having a few issues, might need to post in another category? The back seat isn't locking in on the drivers side when it's up, if I remember this is a common problem?? How do I fix it? It's leaking coolant, saw it this morning on my way out to work so haven't had a chance to find the source yet, are there any nortorious spots where these trucks leak coolant from?? Looking for an internal/windshield FM antenna, any suggestions?

Thanks

Eric
