i orignally thought the post count was 10 and since it took almost a month to get my account approved i have a serious reason to sell the truck really dont see the need for the ignorance but go ahead and flame one day you'll have something u need to handle and you'll be treated with the same respect..thanks i would much rather the truck go to people who have a love for them or a sy/ty enthusiast rather then some random ebay person

This is the second one of these this week. 17 mundane "nice truck"posts in one day to boost the count to 25, and BAM! A for sale ad appears. Might be time to raise it to 100, or 6 months since joining, or 5 posts per day max (not sure vBullitin can do this). But damn. It is annoying as hell to see the entire "new posts" page being put up by one individual. Especially followed by a FS ad at #25.

I'll add something. Raise the minimum count to 100 or more. Make these guys participate constructivly, or force them to E-bay. And here's the up-side: Forcing them to e-bay saves us regulars the annoyance of the post-whoring. We have a couple of peeps that troll the interweb for off-site trucks for sale. If these guys are forced to E-bay, we'll know about it here anyway. AND not get the post-whore abuse.

keep your opinion to yourself IMO

If he post it here himself or not it will show up anyway in the offsite area by someone else so who cares.

good luck with sale. I might be interested if a little cheaper (need a cheap DD), also, when was it inspected in PA?
Still might be interested.
Do you need a DD?

Re: 1993 Typhoon 1927 Green/Gry Financial Issues Force Sale

I think that if they are selling complete trucks then 25 would be OK. If they are trying to sell parts or something a little easier to scam someone on then maybe the post count is irrelevent. It should be based off time and post count. That could be over ridden IF a known member were to vouch for the new member. I'm kinda new my self, but have been to several nationals and know a few owners around here. I wouldn't expect anyone else to trust me if I were trying to sell a used part, though. I just recently signed up because I just recently bought my wife a Ty. Until then- I could just lurk and get my fill of working on them through the Keller fleet....

Nice truck, good luck with the sale. Life happens, and people need to do what's in the best interest for their loved ones. Minimum post counts, time on the forum, etc......if it's an urgent need to sell, PM an admin and they'll help you out. We'd rather see a truck remain in the community than end up destroyed.
