Thanks!

There are some pictures of the front suspension Here and the rear suspension Here. These pictures were actually taken during the process of prototyping the suspension for my Syclone, but the Typhoon front setup is identical and the Typhoon rear is substantially identical except for some slight variations due to minor chassis differences between Syclones and Typhoons.

The Typhoon suspension was custom designed and custom fitted for this truck.

Hey how have you been? I was wondering if you were still around. I remember seeing this years ago and it was in good shape then, glad to see that it's looking better then ever. How's the Syclone doing?

Hey Keith

Good to talk to you. :) Yeah, I'm still around. I've just been very busy with a bunch of stuff.

The Syclone is 95% done - just waiting to put the motor back together.

How about you and yours?

Actually it is to close and looks like it could rub on the front under the head lights. When I bought my Sy the old owner had my front bumper all messed up and rubbed there from being to close.

Def a good looking truck! Good luck with your sale.

That is the EXACT same 4 link setup I have ready to go in my truck. Finally some good pics I can use for reference - thank you Sandman!!

I need to talk to you about how you installed it and what issues you might have had. Look for a PM from me soon.

It's good to see that both of you are around. Makes me smile. I saw "Sandman" post this the other day, and thought: "Wow, there's a true OG and a Gentleman".

I'd like to buy this truck just because of it's 'pedigree', and that it's more than likely a bitchin' piece. But, alas, I have 7 cars as it is, and have told myself "no more, until you sell three". I don't think I could give three away in this market.

Really good to 'see' from you both after all these years.

Regards,
DaveP

Re: 1993 Typhoon For Sale

thats a deal! bump for a super nice truck!...how's this thing handle?
The handling and ride are a lot better than stock - much less body roll and bouncing around, much more control especially when going over bumps or through turns while accelerating or moving rapidly. The steering is noticeably quicker although I don't really like the on-center feel. It might be that the steering box needs to be adjusted tighter - it was loosened by the Sprint car driver who dialed it in. He said it was better for street racing like that, although I liked better when it was set tighter. If I was gonna keep the truck I might even go back to the stock box if I couldn't get the quick one feeling better on center.

Very nice choice of mods. I really like the rear suspension. Where was the battery relocated to?
