How could a insurance company say there was no forced entry, there's probably a dozen ways to get into a vehicle with out breaking something, it all depends on how much "talent" the crook has.For all they know he might carry 50 keys with him and found 1 that fits the door.

it takes no more time to use a slimjim on a door than it does to smash the window, so i don't see how the could claim no forced entry as a sole cause not to pay.

Sorry to hear this but I recommend motion captured cameras & about the forced entry .... I can open your "blazer" doors using your own antenna bent in an L shape. So needless to say your best bet is to keep them locked, in an out of sight kinda place & since somebody has been in them once use the motion cameras now. :2cents:

It is funny that you say that about the cameras. We are in the middle of a very extensive addition on my house. Although I live in a nice community, I live at the end of a private street next to the woods. I will be installing a motion/night vision cameras (6 total) with a 500gb memory. This is also viewable while on the net. It is at costco. Bought it for 1299. Nice purchase:tup:

I use those ones made for deer hunting & they seem to work pretty well .... captured a squirrel gettin' his nut :lol:. I believe I'd have these all around my house to monitor kids, dogs, & of course anybody who wants to lurk when they're not supposed to.

yeah i'll post them up tonight. my male is probably 90lbs and just starting to filll out and he's snow white and about waist high. we even have puppies right now.

sorry to hear about the break in. that SUCKS big time!
maybe they wanted to see what was so special about typhoons since there were TWO of them in one drive way.
i agree with the cameras. the best way to catch them in the act. just replay it for the cops and ins. companies.

I believe that. When I locked the keys in my Blazer, one of the instructors had about 50 GM keys on a key ring. None of those fit, but he asked the class if anyone had a key similar to mine. We ended up using guy with a Grand Prix's key to open my truck. It fit mine, the instructor's 99 Silverado, the 98 Silverado in the shop, and one other vehicle, which I forgot.
