If you can get 19 mpgs towing 6k lb. then you can pee into the wind and not get wet.

I got 20.2 towing 5400 pounds back from Atlanta, GA last month and the Cummins wasn't even working to do it. You'd have to own one to understand ;).

The inline 6 cylinder outpulls (with ease) the 8 cylinder powerstroke I traded in on it.

On a side note ANYTHING is possible with the right equipment/tools, even peeing into the wind and not getting wet.

That's about what I got when I picked up the Ty in June from Soddy Daisy. I figured about 3000# for the steel tilt trailer and 4000# for the Ty. All that was pulled with an '02 5.9 six speed 4WD crew cab dually with 400,000 miles on it. having the extra 100 gallons of fuel is nice, too since you rarely have to stop for fuel (there's an aux tank in the bed).

Damn I wish I owned one then maybe I would understand... Oh wait, I do. The one towing 15k lb. to Nats. Cummins are definately better than a powerstroke but pretty common knowedge that diesel engines in general dont like high speeds and that 4 speed of yours isnt helping. That obc doesnt read accurate btw, its about 1.5 mpg off and thats not in your favor. If you get such good mpgs, then it should be cheap to drive to Nats. I'll see in Denver?

You guys were spotted in Reno by a friend of mine up there. He called and asked where all the Sy's and Ty's are going, appearently he has seen a few the last few days going thru Reno.

Anyone know what is up with the millions of fences out here in the boonies of Wyoming? Too short to keep any livestock in or out and they look too sporadic to mark property lines... Wind control maybe???
