32 spline output shaft transfer case slip yoke length

Hey everyone! I've got a question & hope someone can help me out. I'm upgrading my Syclone with a 4l85e trans & also a 32 spline output shaft transfer case from an Olds Bravada. I'm going to need a driveshaft made for this new setup. I'm also changing the front/rear yokes for this driveshaft to a 1350 style U-joint. I have the the pinion yoke already. I know the 32 spline output shaft B/W 4472 transfer case has a longer rear tail housing than my Syclone 27 spline output shaft transfer case & the slip yoke lengths are different between the Syclone & Typhoon. When I purchased the Bravada transfer case it did not come with a slip yoke. The stock slip yoke from my Syclone is approximately 6-3/4" long from the center of the U-joint to the end of the yoke. So my question is what is the length of the 32 spline slip yoke I will need for the 32 spline output shaft B/W 4472 transfer case to mate to the new driveshaft? Thanks!

I just got done doing what your planning, after reading your question made me have to double check but imo a shorter yoke will work (standerd th400 32spline) if you get the measurments right. Main thing you need to make sure is you get the yoke all the way thru the tail housing bushing which from my measurment earlier on a spare ext housing is 3-1/8" in from the edge of the dust boot.
They list a long barrel (7" overall w/ 5" spline) chromoly sonnax yoke on dennys website thats 32spline and 1350 if youre wanting the longer ty style one or a cast spicer version. The shorter versions are 5.5" overall and 3.6" of yoke spline from what ive seen.

I have the 32 spline shaft and just added a new aluminum driveshaft today which is the stock length and it fit in no problem, I'm not sure of the yoke lengths so that probably doesn't help out much. In the past I've heard you had to shorten the driveshaft when doing this conversions but this is not the case. I can measure mine if you would like.

I understand what skolman91 is saying about yoke length through the tail housing bushing, but I am still curious what the length of a stock Typhoon or Bravada slip yoke is. If it's possible for you or anyone else to get this measurement I would like to have it for personal & future reference in case someone else may want it. Thanks
