38 Chevy "Syclone" Street Rod

I was talking about Ty's to a guy at work that use to own a syclone. We were talking about Barrett-Jackson auction and he was saying a couple of years ago at auction there was a black 38 chev coupe that had a ty/sy drivetrain in it. He said it was called "black Ice" or something like that. Anybody have pics or know about it?

Yep name was Black Ice. Built ~10 year ago in Washington state area. Been mentioned a few times but not much info otherwise.

Wow, thanks guys. I kinda remember that now. But that was a few years ago,don't think it went over $100,000.00 though.

I think it sold for $52k-$57k last time on barret jackson.
They did say it had over $100k in receipts.

Bitchin concept but soemone took it in the shorts buidling that thing.
