Tom is also going to be in Florida on vacation with his wife so I don't think he will be able to make it.

Those that are interested, a group of us are meeting at Cracker Barrel, exit #36 Mooresville @ 8:00am.

Just look for the group of loud and boisterous bull$**ters!! You may want to bring some boots to wear in there also!! :agrue: It may get pretty deep!!

If not we'll see you at the track!!

A few pics but no videos here. Less took our money with some strong 6.8xx runs. Stick and I had trouble keeping turbo hoses on but were both in the 7.40's I think. Beautiful day and great facility with a big turnout.

Funniest sight of the day: and the joke was on me. I grabbed a fire extinguisher from work to use the CO2 to supercool my intercooler. Tried it before and it works well. So my last run, I told a friend (who did not want his name used) to wait until I got up to the line, then spray my intercooler radiator down for about 5 seconds. I guess I shoud have checked to make sure I had CO2  It was the dry powder type and make a cloud of smoke and covered my blakc Ty in white powder :D . It was even coming in throught the air vents! People in the stands stood up because they thought I was on fire. The tower send someone up to find out just what the he#$ was going on. Remember the original sy record holder in the salft flats, with the white front end...that's what I looked like. And my friend George.oops, never knew there was anything wrong. People were asking him what he was doing and he didn't know how to respond. What a mess.

the track was great. best prepared track we've gone to. the people were great. best truck there was jim longwiths nitromethane running radio controlled toy. i had never seen one before and i'll tell you what, that little
SOB was quicker than snot comin down a kids face in winter. i think i heard somebody say is was 0-60 in like 1.8 seconds. wheel stands in all three gears. sure didn't seem that slow! I want one now...bad! it was really good to see my old truck and phillip. he's got it both lookin, soundin with the new stereo, and runnin great. for what's in it i think he may have the fastest syclone around with just the few minor mods it has. i think he ran 7.2 and 97. it may have been faster even. he's done a much better job with it than i ever had. finally met john waller in person, longwith is one of my favorite all time people anyway. there were some wicked fast cars there. 4 seconds and 165 in the quarter fast enough for ya. a young guy drove down from south florida that i had talked to for quite a while and it was nice to finally meet him. the weather was perfect.

all in all a totally great time. :D

Yeah I think it was a great turnout for it being the first year we had a car show and race classes. Hopefully all had fun!!

I hate that I never had a chance to say "hello" to most of you guys!! I was pretty busy with the event and trying to run my own car.

Congrats to Les for winning the $200.00, we're glad you made it down!!
