To add my 2 cents, I've stayed at almost all of the Western Budget hotels across Alberta (Hey, I work in the oilfield!) and they are a great value. The beds are memory foam, which can be good or bad depending on what you like. I've also stayed at the Executive Royal Inn, it's more high end, has a couple restaurants on site, and is really quite nice as well.
That being said, if money is an issue, I too have an extra room available if someone needs it. It's just a futon, but it kicks the hell out of sleeping on the floor
