Here's what I found....not sure if any one really posted a good solid part number of what's direct bolt in...I couldn't find a good solid answer so here ya go.....

Typhoon oe size bolt in style...

1990 astro van awd bolt in style.....

Was alittle slow today at my pt job so I took advantage of trying to help hold boost launches alittle better for all of us...

Here's both parts ....

I did this all one handed also sorry the micrometer is off but hey...try doing it with one hand thats broken and casted up and take some pics..I'm sure I'll be chastised for it but they are identical in piston size and bolt size hole location....

Re: 7/8 rear wheel cyl.

It seems when some guys have switched to LS disc in the the rear, they hold even less boost then before w/stock drum brakes.
Makes it worse for boost launching.

Re: 7/8 rear wheel cyl.

I've heard that.... I'll keep my drums for a little while longer. ...get my boost fix. ..then go for the looks one day. ..i know they help with stopping power...drums hold better....imo....bigger wheel cylinder s equals more hold...I could do the longer shoes also. .

Re: 7/8 rear wheel cyl.

thank you for looking this up. i've been want to do this for a very long time. this is a lot easier than trying to figure out how to do the disc conversion (for me anyways).

i want to do this along with aluminum drums.

do you have part numbers for the longer shoes?
