75 Extra H.P. or 350HP total... What Mods??

I would like to know what I would have to do to my Sy to get
an Extra 75H.P. out of it.. I don't want to spend to much..
I know I can do a bigger Fuel Pump, then turn the Boost Up
a little bit.. I don't really know too much about Tuning Turbos..
I would also like to know where To Buy things like:
3" DownTubes, A 3 Bar Chip, 3 Bar Map Sensor, and so on..
Any Help Would Be Great...

Go look in the venders section of the forums and click on there shops. Race Proven Motors has a HUGE selection of stuff you need to get your shit done.

3 bar chip. Ultimate or Phil long
50# injectors
afpr
fuel pump
scan tool
alky
tune
That should get you in the mid- upper 300's depending on boost.
should find all that for around 1200-1500$

So where did you get the 2,400-2,600 pound from? Did you weigh it? I just can't imagine, unless most of it's fiberglass that just not having the roof it weighing that much.

Any motor pics? Mot that I don't believe you, just curious.

My 87 2wd blazer with a v8 was just over 3400lbs. No fiberglass on it, nothing taken out except for the AC, heavy steel wheels from a 73 z28, and cast iron heads. A pickup is about 400-500 lbs lighter isnt it? Minus the roof and 2 cylinders and I would think that would be close to the weight.

Some guy in my town told me thats what a
Non A/C, Manual Door S10 weighted.. He usually
knows his Sh!t, He has had 3 V8 S10s that ran
in the 10s.. Could be wrong but, this truck seems
very light I had to push 3/4 mile after I snapped the
rear.. I bolted my BFG Drag Radials up in the one
Pic, The pic with top off and Drag Radial behind rear
tire.. Snapped the rear like 10 min after that pic..

out all the B.S... Remote Start/ Alarm (rigged)
Next thing is Bringing it back up to stock hight..
Then the BOYDS wheels get sold, the Doors,
Bed, TailGate, Hood All go bye bye.. I will sell
the hood, the others are trash too rusty..
Then I will repaint it BLACK..
I just picked up Weld ProStars, I have (4)
17x9.5 ZR1s for the street..

The cladding makes our trucks lower than it really is. His truck is probably drop 6" from a stock SyTy Ride height.

Yeah I know i've had lowered 2wd S-10's before, part likes the frame scraping, spark shooting, cross member smashing stance. The Sy too important to trash like that.

Side not, if you do raise it up I might have all the factory parts, let me know.

The truck has a 2" Drop All around (2" d. blocks, 2" d. coils) front shocks
are dead so probably 2.5" front.. Also the front of the truck is off the DriveWay,
so that is probably 2.5" to 3" extra.. With 245-50-16 Rear 225-50-16 Fronts.

Black Knight, Do you have the Front Coils and Rear Leaf Springs??
If so how Much?? not yet, January at the earliest....
Can you fit a 28" tall tire under the back of a Stock Hight Sy???

Reason I'm asking about 28" tall tire is because I just picked up Welds off of Ebay

Rear tires are like Early Style Street Slicks

No coils on SyTys, unless its a coilover conversion. Being 4wd/AWD, they use torsion bars. Usually cranking them down is how we achieve a drop in the front. Blocks and/or leaf springs are most popular for the rear.

This is a stock height Sy with 245/50/R16 tires (stock size):

My 1982 S-10 longbed weighed 2680 lbs with a 4.3 auto with floorshift. Manual everything, 15x7 Olds Rally Rims with bolt on center caps and 245 R 60 front tires, 275 R 60 rear tires made by BFG. I had to weigh it for tags.

My 1988 fully loaded S-10 Shortbed weight check in at 2960 lbs with Eagle Series 58 15X7 rims with a 235R75-15 tires that weigh 34lbs each.
