Came across this video the other day. I believe that I met the owner at a syty meet in Columbus a few years ago:

The video quality isn't high enough for me to know for sure. The first name in the video is different but the last name is the same...

I think I remeber that guy too. He had a RPM/ or similiar vendor motor built for his truck didn't he? I believe it was an Asian kid. I wonder where he's been?

He had a motor build by Lee Howie. I was standing around with Daron and a bunch of others when he pulled up. Yeah, he was an Asian guy because I told everyone that him and I were representing the "Far East Side" as I made a gangsta "E" with my right hand held sideways...

Speaking of Norwalk, you should come out during one of the track rentals that I attend with Todd A. if you can sometime. We have the track rented for four hours in the middle of the month every month. Cost is $35 and you get to make as may runs as you want. Get to see/run some exotic stuff too as some of the folks that come out to play are the owners of where they work...

Hey Mike I would love to come down to Norwalk and race again. It's been a few years since I was there racing with Les and Todd.

Definately!! I've talked to Todd thru emails but never met him yet. I went to a track rental a couple years ago at Norwalk and had alot of fun!! Let me know the next time you decide to go. On that note too, I love going on Friday test-n-tune nights if you ever want to meet up there sometime. I saw your Mustang buddy from work there last year.

Ive heard of this truck..clean...fast, it was great. As for the video...driving some of those imports as aposed to the 03 cobra I just drove would be like loosing your virginity and then going back to dry humping..Just not the same.

Re: 92 Ty racing at my home track

Regarding the motor that meet in Columbus was back in 2002 so, there could have been some changes between then and now... Wade and Brian, I need to get the next track date from Todd confirmed. It would be GREAT to see you guys! Having another syty there would be sweet  ! Just to let you know, the track is always rented on a wednesday from noon till 4:00. I work right next to the track and make arrangements to get off work to go.

Unfortunately, I'm out for *anything* at the moment :(. The paint started to peel off my intercooler bad last year and it's getting sanded then polished. Problem is, I hand sanded two holes in the sob on the throttle body side. The aluminum on that side is only about .020" thick in the corners, surprised that I didn't blow it out at the track with 20 psi  ...

I'd say slower than a stock Ty, I ran a 13.3 with an 85k mile Ty.....just a chip.

Re: 92 Ty racing at my home track

Okay, the first track rental day will be June the 14th (a Wednesday) from noon till 4:00. The price will be $35 to run. All interested parties please contact me ASAP if you are interested in attending as there are a limited number of slots available. Being that this will be the first rental of the year, it will probably fill up quick. I hope the fella with the 1,000 HP porsche & Mitsu makes it out...

My intercooler's fate is in the welder's hands now. If I can't get it fixed, I'm going to pull the turbo off and get a plate welded on the exhaust manifold. Bye bye forced induction headaches :p !!! That would definately make my coworker happy, winning the smackdown championship belt would be a cake walk for him if I was NA  .
