I saw the other add asking if it was a good deal and im pretty sure I know a little more what is going on here. Ive been reading up and watching the boards here for quite some time. I found one for $11K with around 80K miles on it. The guy that has it has owned it since 30K and has reciepts. He hasnt driven it much the past few years and has always garaged in winter? Motor is very clean and the leather has very few creases and looks to be kept well. Does this sound like a typhoon that I can trust somewhat? I know they all have there days but with the records and from what I have seen I feel ok about this one.
I found another Ty with the same mileage and price, but this one has a slight knock? Is this something to totally stay away from? Also the guy had it without the front propshaft for probably 2-3,000 miles, but now has it back in? Again something that should worry me? I think I could get him to go down on this one a little, but I dont have "great engine skills", would I be ok with the one on top? This one obviously needs a little work.
Dont really know what I even asked here, just dont want to buy my first Typhoon and have it completely go to crap on me the first day. Would it be very advisable to have someone with sy/ty experience check it out before I even go look at it? Thanks for any info/help on this one. Cody
