Re: 93 Ty #1710

I'd like to thank Gary Shanock for sending me this to replace the one that was on the truck during the fire that had been on the truck for like 12 years. Thank you Gary!

Can't find some of my stupid interior parts for it. As of now I need the very rear carpet, the carpet piece that folds with the rear seat, the upper rear seat cover, the quarter window plastics, headliner board, rear speakers, rear seatbelts, passenger seat upper seat cover and that's about it.

Taking the truck this week to get the exhaust buttoned up then going to get a new sticker for the tag so it'll be legal. Hoping to drive it a couple days before I decide to put it up for the winter.

What are some options for gauges? Would like to get a fuel pressure gauge for sure along with a boost gauge. Anyone have any specific brands they like and on the fuel pressure should I get one that goes on the rail line? Would like to keep an eye on it though after it cutoff on the way home from Charlotte and hasn't hiccupped since. Looking at getting a scanmaster for it as well.

I got a scanmaster. I'll let it go for a pretty decent price, I have no use for it anymore

Didn't realize I haven't updated my build thread the interior is 95% done just need a few more pieces and it'll be done. I replaced the upper passenger seat cover along with the whole rear seat covers. The truck has been running good but it's leaking oil and I'm tired of it so step 1 to the problem is deleting the oil cooler in the fender I've already ordered the fitting so I can put the filter on the block. The oil filter adapter gasket is what caused my engine probs a few yrs back since it puked all my oil out. Now the lines are starting to leak so before it causes something else I'll just go the simple route. Hopefully I'll have the fitting by Saturday so I can delete it this weekend and give it a oil change.

Just deleted the oil filter adapter and lines what a mess that made removing and it was a bitch to get off. Put the fitting on with some blue loctite and let it set up and put some oil in it and so far I'm seeing better oil pressure at idle idk about driving since it's already midnight and the engine needs to be sprayed off and re-detailed. Also noticed a couple oil pan bolts missing not sure what's up with that guess I'll grab a few bolts for it. Hoping this solves a lot of my oil leaks.
