as I posted on the facebook page earlier this week, its with a heavy heart I need to sell the typhoon. I really don't want to, I have finally dialed it in and replaced a lot of bad things the truck started out with.
I bought it March 1st of last year from SocalBlue, formerly on this site. Truck came out of Torrance CA where it spent all of its life as im told. I never drove it in snow, we really didn't have any snow this year, so truck is rust free.
specs:
1993 Black/black Typhoon with Un-painted cladding.
I currently use it as a daily to work
current mileage is just over 136k.. I bought it with 132k so only 4000 miles in 1 year
Engine:
stock heads, block, intake manifolds

TurboTweak chip, stock injectors, 91 octane setting, EGR delete
Heat/HVAC/AC:
I bought the truck with no heater/core/AC, I put the AC box back in, as well as a new heater core, and blower motor. AC was recharged last June, blows cold, heat works great.
I also replaced the HVAC switching vacuum selector, as well as replaced the vacuum lines behind the dash that come in from the engine (that was a BIG job)
Stereo:
Brand New Kenwood CD deck (I still have the stock 93 CD player as well)
Boston Acustic speakers
Wheels:
Stock wheels
stock wheel caps
Wheel cap bolts are not stock
Stock unused spare with tool kit and wheel cover still in place
Exterior:
white turn signals and corners
The Good:
Truck runs great, as I said I use it as a daily, no issues, solid boost, pulls great.
The bad:
leaks a nickel size spot of oil coming from the oil relocation at the block
Starter grinds every other start due to a few messed up teeth on the flywheel
AEM wideband gauge just stopped working, trying to figure out this issue
Trip odometer doesn't work
Hatch release doesn't work, needs to have solenoid replaced (I have a spare)
Needs front end alignment (I can get this done before sale)
I also have numerous other stock and aftermarket parts that will go with the truck
ECM, brand new window runners from Sportmachines, Sportmachines Turbo Blanket, hatch release solenoid, Drive shaft safety loop, Volvo electric fan, stock crossover tube with box
I also have a brand new ACDelco 3 bar map sensor, TurboTweak Walbro fuel pump, and TurboTweak Hotwire fuel pump kit all brand new in the boxes to go with this
truck located in Provo UT.. I can help deliver within a hundred miles or so..
Looking for $8000 firm
.. its well worth this or more. truck needs very very little.. paint is great, no major issues or rust.. there are 2 vertical scratches on the rear tailgate
