'93 Typhoon

Hey guys. I've been out of the SyTy game for a while. I'm looking at a '93 Typhoon with 45k original miles for $10,995. Seems like a good price for a well maintained Ty. Am I wrong? Going to look at it soon, is there anything I need to focus on when I look at it. Any help appreciated.

thats about going rate right now for an ultra stock. post pics up so the guys that REALLY know can point out possible problems. remember there is a buyers guide somewhere on here and that will get you real far if you abide by it. sorry i dont have the link, i have to get back to work

Thanks for the info guys. I was expecting to see mid teens for the mileage and actually found a few others priced quite a bit higher, but then again I haven't inspected it yet.

It has a clean carfax. Seems to have only been in Sarasota Fla up until 2004 when it was titled in Ohio.

I'll let everyone know on saturday. I put a $500 deposit on the truck and plan on going down there. if all works I'll drive it straight to the fall meet in monroe.

Probably because he started this thread talking about buying a 93 Ty, and then you come in and message about putting a deposit down on a truck.

Is it the same truck he was planning on looking at?

except I had a deposit on the truck last saturday morning at 9:00 am? I was going last weekend but I thought it was to far away so, I thought it was strange. last time I tried to buy long distance and put a deposit on a syclone at a dealership. I took off work and left my house for the weekend trip out(12 hours 1 way). on the way I called the salesmen to let him know when abouts I would be there. he tells me there was a mistake and another salesmen was already writing up the paper work that the truck was sold the night before! this is 6 hours one way so once again I'm nervous!
