I had to replace at last the front and rear brakes on our 2001 GMC Safari with 150,000 miles. So while I work on the van at my friends shop, a 2003 Chevy pickup comes in for a transmission and engine oil change. While my friend is refilling the fluids I notice a little pump mounted on the vacuum booster for the brakes.
If this is in fact a vacuum booster pump it should work great for us to increase braking ability with the larger cams without using hyd assist from the steering pump. The booster pump was small at 2.5 " wide and about 6" long. the pump was mounted on the booster and the out let from it connected to the hose that would normally go to the intake. As you can see they used on alot of trucks from 2003 to 2007. I was not able to find a picture of it however. Has anyone look into this?
