A/C problems

I replaced all the check valves and vacuum lines on my Syclone when I did my tune up. I've always had A/C problems since I bought the truck but the pressures are good and I'm still running R-12. The A/C comes on and then shuts off cruising down the hwy but I can rev the enginge to 3500-4000 RPM and it comes back on. The same thing happens at idle sometimes and I can rev the engine and it comes back on. I've been playingaround with Wyoming Syclones 40# injector tune and almost have things lined out except the A/C. Anyone else have this problem? The vacuum ball has been moved under the battery tray but I don't see any cracks. Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

You don't know what you're talking about!!!! The vacuum system has NOTHING to do with the outlet discharge temperature!!!!!

Loose the bold font, BTW. It's annoying as hell. Same thing as all uppercase yelling. And the use of multiple exclamation marks. Don't use any. Especially when you don't know what you're talking about.

Maybe your correct but it solved my issue !!! ;)

Damn a/c! Mine just went out too, hopefully it just needs a recharge.

Re: A/C problems

Thanks DaveP, If I can't figure it out my next step was going to change the compressor out and go ahead and put some new A/C lines on for looks. I have it running fine at normal driving but the compressor kicks off with a little throttle. It is getting some miles and it's the original compressor.
