I have been pondering if buying them would be a good idea or a bad one. Good because IF they are repairable, that's a smoking good deal. Bad because if they aren't, they are going to be a $(insert dollar amount here) paperweight. The idea of having a "pattern" to go off if I decided to make my own is appealing but, I have access to a pair if need be. And that wouldn't cost me a penny.
I had this wacky idea today that I would offer you $100 for them under the condition that if I could get them in usable condition, I would happily pay you the additional $200 so that you would get your full asking price. Kind of a win win situation in your favor since you will be able to sell them and I don't end up with a expensive paperweight if I can't get them repaired. However if I could, you would get exactly what you are asking for them. Being that denny is offering more than what I was willing to part with, you can sell them to him if you wish...
