not having any luck "using the search feature"

where is the wiring or fuses etc that control the AC/heater fan? i took off that lil panel in the glove box but couldnt really see anything. i checked all the fuses and i checked the switch in the dash... the AC compressor kicks on, but i have no fan to blow the cold air into the cab... its only march and temps are already in the 90s... i need my AC!

Re: AC/heater fan doesnt work

well i was lookin around under the hood, and i found a wire that isnt plugged in. i cant really see where the hell it comes from without taking the IC off (i really dont feel like doing that right now). half the length of the wire that i can see is zip tied near the AC compressor. i just cant find where it plugs into... hehe i dont even know if this is the wire for the fan.

It plugs into the bottom of the fan....its kinda hard to see.... it was a single wire and was a female end if I remember correctly.

You need to check the wiring to your blower motor. Do you know where the blower motor is? I would say that if youreally need A/C you will chekc them. If everything is hooked up and all your fuses are good then you may want to replace your blower motor realy which is located near the blower motor. It has about 4-6 wires going into it. Get a flashlight and look down toward the bottom left side of the blower motor and make sure that the purple wire is plugged in all the way. Mine falls off all the time.
