1. How many are using a Aluminum 4.3 engine block ?

2. Would you be willing to share the specification and outcome of your build ?

3. What would you change if you were to do it again ?

If your referring to the aluminum bowtiie block. They are good, while they aren't as strong as the regular bow tie block they still are better then a stock block. Adam who has the time attack Syclone has one in his truck and I believe he did it for the purpose of saving weight. The aluminum block from what I've read are good to about 700hp.

According to the following post, at least 90 lbs. Thats iron bowtie vs alum if I'm reading it correctly.

I haven't personally held an aluminum bowtie block but after lifting my steel bowtie just now , to see a 90 lb loss would be impressive IMO .
