aftermarket intakes

guys i have a couple of questions.first i want to convert my tb to a fi im looking for an aftermarket intake ive seen 1 that looks like a ram jet.anyone know where i can purchase 1?second will i have to send my computer out or get a new chip of somesort?thanx in advance .

you guys have the best knowledge around some one has gotta know.im eventually gonna turbo this motor.i really dont want the sy/ty intakes for the simple fact that it is not that motor

Other than a custom sheetmetal from wilson, etc. and the stock.

There are no off the shelf manifolds.

You could convert a carb intake though.

As mentioned, turbo a non turbo 4.3 without going inside is a death sentence.

thanx for the help guys but the one i seen was a big rectangle sheped one just like on a ram jet 502 with the tb in the front.so nobody makes one for the 4.3?it sucks when ricers have more parts available then domestics.the motor thats going in the truck is a 92 i know the guy told me it has l35 heads on it but i dont know how to check.i just want to get a nice nas motor that will spank the imports

the intake you are talking about (I think) is a custom intake it was a ram jet intake for a 350 that someone sent to a machine shop and had a section cut out and then rewelded the intake back together it was pretty pimp a$$ if you ask me I think it was someone from chitown syty not sure though

thanx for the info guys.the last link wont work but im gonna keep trying.keep the info coming.my tb is stuck closed did everything so im was gopnna replace it but its 468 bucks i figured i could put it tiowards the new intake.anyone by chance would have a price ..ballpark?

$350 ramjet intake $700 custom machine work + 300 Custom fuel Rails + $500 for other misc. part.
