How's it coming with my Rad support?

i have one in my garage. the other 7 are waiting for all final tabs to be welded on. i'm planning on installing it the end of this week to ensure a perfect fit and the rest will be welded up next week and shipped to all paid customers.

Re: alum rad supports and oil pans ( lil long )

Re: alum rad supports and oil pans ( lil long )

Chris, just wondering if you had a chance to work on my valve covers. I'll be tearing down the truck starting Nov 1 and I have funds waiting to be sent. I have a few extra $$ in it for the custom request I made.
Thanks

How's it coming on the rad supports? Do you have an oil pan available as well?

i have all the supports just about ready. i had to order some alum to make the headlight buckets. the pep design is way to shitty...i am having fabbed buckets made. still able to use the adjusters as with the stock suppts just a better way to mount the headlights to these supports.

to those who have paid for suppts. i APOLOGIZE for it taking so long to get this done. i will be happy to refund your money if you are tired of waiting. i just cannot find it in myself to send out suppts with shitty headlight buckets.

i will be happy to send you the core support you paid for and refund 100.00 of your money if you are willing to fix the headlight problem yourself. if not then i will get these out as soon as the fabbed/ hand made buckets get here.

Any chance I can get my hands on one of these supports? Those are super sick, and my core support is hacked to hell..
Thanks,

Re: alum rad supports and oil pans ( lil long )

I can't believe this fell thru my browsing cracks and I never noticed it. I'm thinking I will need one of these trick pieces. Does this affect the stability of the front or reduce any strength in the event of an accident?

Is there a definite price?

Re: alum rad supports and oil pans ( lil long )

yes there are a few left. 3 to be exact.

when bolted in they are extremely strong... on the other hand they are not as thick as the oem suppts. and there has not been any real world crash tests to see if they lose any strength in an accident.

but i will be glad to give you one at a discount if you would be willing to test it for us. lol just kidding.

the stock suppt bolts to the frame with 2 bolts and rubber bushings between and one bolt on each side for the fenders... same here. you just save some weight and have better access for a2a and other things.

Re: alum rad supports and oil pans ( lil long )

Well if your going to have the core supports in stock all the time, you will be hearing from me in the next few months, as i want to pick one up for my GT, with the L92 engine going in i need all the room for fans and IC i can get.

Nice looking products, keep up the great work.

LIL QIK

HELL YEA I GOT BOOST!
Re: alum rad supports and oil pans ( lil long )

I'm sorry if I missed this somewhere.........but what is the expected wait savings of the core supports? And is there anything that normally bolts to the support that won't anymore?

Thanks...Dave
