Amps!

I am going to plan on upgrading my radio and speakers. I am thinking of a small box with a woofer or two nothing crazy. The question is what amps are people using now a days. I used Rockford fosgate, pioneer and was happy with them. Any other recommendations. Also any pictures of a system set up would be nice.

Final question the radio i was told is a DIN and a half. I see alot of radios that are double din, is there a big differece. Will a double din fit if i shave the plastic? Just throwing some ideas out there.

thanks

As for a double din radio, shaving a little plastic wont work, you'll most likely need to cut some dash support and remove the ashtray if I remember correctly, a few S10 guys have done it.

What are you using for the head unit?

Depends on how much you want to shave the plastic.

Exacto knife, No.

Pouland chainsaw, Yes.

Look around. I think there are double-DIN install kits for the older S trucks. :2cents:
