I'm about 80% sure I can make it. I put the built trans in but I had a rear main seal leak I had to fix first. I shoved Renz shaft where it belongs, And I cleaned up almost all the crazy wiring and extra intercooler that was on previously( the intercooler had a break along one of the seams) that was leaking boost!
I put my down pipe on and I have a 10-1 to put in but I'm not sure its a real 10-1, can we use a datamaster to figure out if the programs are what they are supposed to be?
I feel great because I've finally had time and motivation to work on her.
Oh and a fresh oil change with Amsoil synthetic made me feel better about the whole thing too!

not 100% sure myself, may get to test out the new(er) crx on a long distance drive....
Dad is gonna be out of town so I know he wont be there.

Got finishing with the Gilbert shaft tonight, and starting to fill the trans with fluid.
Got about 8 quarts in it and ran through the gears in the garage, and pressure slowly came up. The truck actually jumps and bangs into gear now, which I have NEVER had with this rebuild. It actually scared me a bit seeing how I forgot whats its like to feel a transmission actually shifting and having line pressure.
Gotta finish up with filling the trans up and get the ECM moved to the glovebox, which isnt a major priority if i dont get it done.
But it looks like im good to go for Miami in the Sy...just need to take it out for a spin and get the TC settled and fluid level full.

I'm passing on this meet..
I'm taking the boy to the monster truck show the 28th and its gonna be even harder for me to make it down there. And saving up for a trip up to Phil's place in early March. (which I might do a little southern swing and see all you guys in Ga again on my way back..)

I had to promise my wife to take her and the kids to Disney(I hate Disney) two days before the meet so I could have my time in Miami,

Looks like the Autocross is gonna keep me from making this meet. Unless something changes this in the next week, I am, unfortunately, not gonna make this meet. Sucks.....I need a road trip too.
I guess I can find comfort in in autocrossing a Caterham Super 7 (club member's) as well as getting to ride shotgun in a new ZO6 around a fast pattern.
Still sucks that I'm missing,

If anyone needs some parts from Hood, I'll be purchasing a couple CV axles in a day or two, We could save some money on shipping costs if anyone thats goin needs any junk from him.

Sorry guys i have not been on the board in a while (started training to be a loan officer at the bank) but i am not going to be able to make it either.
I am sorry to let both adam and tim down.
But hopefully i will have everything in order for the next meet with my truck running again.

Nah, no worries...you guys know theres always more events between both of us.
However... I just took the Sy out for its maiden after the TC swap and gilbert shaft. Its cold out and holy sh!t I own a different truck now.
It was pullin like a raped ape and shifting crisip and firm through each gear, which its never done. Havent done any boost launches yet (save those for Miami) but from 5mph roll-ons and 25mph roll-ons, the truck runs like a champ and feels like it supposed to be with a PTE52. I finally cracked a smile while driving the Sy, which hasnt happened in a long time.
Time for the pre-Miami drive... im off to Orlando to drop off schtuff for the parents, and pick up half of Warren's junkyard in his garage.

I'm trying to arrange a trip to tower shops, I'm gonna meet up with a kid from ft. lauderdale to pick up a replacement seat for my crx. Should I try to meet him friday or are we going there saturday?

They don't meet there saturdays. Friday night will be tough, need to hang around, people will be rolling in at different times. We'll have a better idea once we get closer to the date. Might be good for you to just meet him Friday on your way down.
