Just wondering if ill ever get one day out of this truck so,drive kids to school pull over to let them out truck stalls wont restart cranks but nothing more so im what now no spark or no fuel sitting in freezimg cold and just dunno what to do anymore

welcome to the world of syty's. its a great truck isn't it?

are you getting the SES light with KO? if so then you have ecm power and thus probably spark. can you hear the fuel pump run? have you checked all your fuses?

SES light is on other GM products. He means the "Check Engine" light.

Yes that comes on im hoping just a coil I can hear the pumo prime so thinking its bot the problem

Does the tachometer needle move when you crank the engine?

Hey at least the kids made it to school.

Sounds like a no spart to me, ECM fuse would be my first check as posted, 2nd would be the module in the distributor. They seem to get pissed at me often and just go out randomly.

BTW I own 93 ty#1251....

ha well it turns out i had to replace the distributor. Was old and had some rust.. Works now.. Oh well for now anyway lol. Lets hope i get some seat time with no more probs for a while.
