Dean - your truck is just #@*^$!* bad-ass man. Congrats on getting it back :tup: Sounds like the wait was worth it and you'll be making 10-second passes very soon. If it were mine, I'd lose the 80's windshield banner and hood stickers and put some sick rims on it. Get us some video of it when you get to the track...killer truck.

Hey Dean,
Your video was like putting a tape on rewind for me... I lived in Simi Valley and Moorpark for 8 years (1980-88).... that Topanga Canyon on ramp is one I've taken many times... but a long time ago. What a great nostalgia trip for me.. Now that I own a Sy it's even that much more special....Thanks!

Ok, is it me or am I crazy when I look at your avatar I see a windshield banner on your truck :roll: Pretty sure it was stock and installed some time in 91? :rotf:
I LOVE that sticker on the window, the font is uniqe, and when that guy in the porche looks in his rear view mirror he sees that pitbull with it's proud banner staring back at him then he knows game on.

Sad part is it's still at Mikes shop, had to go back for a issue in November and has been thier since. Mikes ironing it out though, but it's just taking longer than I ever thought to get this project done. I think that's somwhat common on these trucks though. I'll be posting more videos when I get it back again.

Man why would you leave this weather behind? I heard you guys got snowed out big time thier a while back, (my friend lives in Tulsa) I guess you only get to take the sy out durring the summer?

Well my next video will be the sy comming back home again on the 101 in thousand oaks/ Ventura area, that should be fun for yah.

Yes, that is a Syclone windshield banner in my avatar pic...good catch! I put it on there when I first got my Sy years ago, but it didn't stay on long. I dunno, it looked cheesy after a while and was obstructing my view, so it had to go. Sorry to hear you're truck is back in the shop - I hope it's nothing major :-( You listed "lockers" in your sig...do you mean locking differentials? That truck is wild.

I personaly love red lettering on black background, I think it really sets it off, especially when it's such a uniq font like ours are, if it's in good shape of course. But to each thier own.
Yah lockers in the front, they seem to work well for the time I had it, but really didn't put them to much to the test. Thanks for the props, I really do love that truck alot. If your ever down this way I'll take you for a little ride.

Wow, thanks for the props. Actually I saw a clean engine build that I liked a little more than mine, super detaild out, looked like it should of been in a museum. Can't recalls who's but oh man it looked fantastic under the hood.

Those alum heads sure do breath good, and sure is a rare combo that is for sure, kind of fun to have something so uniq/rare. I can't wait till we can throw it on a dyno and see some updated numbers.

Yes I do miss the weather. It's not too bad here in Oklahoma.... much better than in Northern Wyoming! We did have a few bad ice storms here through the Tulsa/Stillwater area, but nothing like the snow and 20 below weather back home...

Your next video, through the Thousand Oaks area will be great... man I miss that place!!
