Another Update with pics

Ok, so the cage is done and now we are re-installing everything on the inside including new carpet. Took these pics on Monday, but all the interior work you see is going to have to be redone. I realized after installing the back panels and the side window molds that the leather wheel hub piece must go in before those parts and after the front carpet. Oh well will re do it next week. We had to trim the lip off the side window molds but that took all of 5 minutes on each side. It looks pretty good I think, we have the rear done, and was letting the front take shape and sit in there for a week before we begin to cut it.

WOW Mike, you still have a long way to go. I know you're like me and thinking...the weather is strating to break, and it's time for some SEAT time.

Not as long as it appears. Just need to reinstall the interior and get it on a dyno. That is all. But exactly right on needing some seat time

Re: Another Update with pics

If you are planning to certify the cage you may want to check about a cross brace on your back braces. I will check with my cage builder for sure, but I think I recall that it may be required.

His cage is welded to the frame in every point going through the floor then filer plates were made to cover the holes and clean up the install

For it to be NHRA legal it must be tied into the frame since its a full frame car. :D
